Nailsea Churches FC were formed around 1982 and hailed from Southfield Church in Nailsea. We originally played under the guise of 'Nailsea Venturers FC' until we later changed to 'Nailsea Churches FC'.
The team is no longer affiliated to one church and has a mixture of Christian and non-Christian players, coming from Nailsea, Clevedon, Portishead and Bristol.
We are one of the founder members of the Bristol Church League, winning both the League and Cup in the first 3 years that the league was run. Success has been a little harder to come by since then with our only success coming in the 1991/92 Cup competition, but hopefully many successful years lay ahead for us.
1991/92: BCFA Cup Winners
1984/85: BCFA League Division 1 Champions
1982/83: BCFA Cup Winners

Most Improved Player 06/07
Matt Hassanalli
Midfield
'The Hass' has been a revelation this season. We're so pleased he's bagged this award after having to convince him to play after almost retiring at the end of last season. The Hass has reveled in his new midfield general role and has shown the sort of team spirit that makes you proud to play for the Nailsea boys.

Clubman 06/07
Kelvin Hall
Striker
Kelvin also picked up the Clubman of the year trophy, breaking Mr Provis' heart as he was looking for his 3rd consecutive trophy. In all honesty Kelvin was a much deserved winner after working tirelessly behind the scenes in his role as groundsman and all-round 'Nailsea-through-and-through' good-guy. Well done matey!
