10th Mar: Nailsea 4 Freedom Bath 0
The game started very even but after 15 mins Freedom were down to 10 men after losing a player with a hamstring injury.
Nailsea made hard work of it and Freedom caused all sorts of problems as they passed the ball well. A tactical switch by Nailsea to 3-5-2 gave them that bit extra in midfield and they went on to dominate in the second half.

I still think Nailsea would have won if Freedom had 11 players for the whole match. Nailsea had the luxury of 3 subs and so could bring on fresh legs in the second half.
However Freedom didn't give up and kept having a go. They are a good bunch of lads and the game was played in a great spirit
As with Nailsea's game last week against Hope, I was happy with the win but was genuinely sorry it was against 10 men. I would always prefer to play against a full team as that gives you a fair and decent measure of how well you really played.
