9th Feb: Hope 2 Nailsea 2
A 2-2 draw with our good friends from Hope ended in controversy when a penalty was awarded by the referee in the final minute of the game. Emotions were running high as the penalty was disputed by most of the Nailsea team - a high foot in the box was deemed worthy of a spot kick which was dispatched past the less then happy Mossman in the Nailsea goal. However, Nailsea can only have themselves to blame for not killing off the game earlier and missing some good chances in goal.
